As a small, private-lesson studio, we provide focused, individualized attention that may not be available at large institutions. All students play on our meticulously maintained Baldwin grand piano, and our studio is air-conditioned for comfortable summer lessons.

The principal teacher, guest performers and special-subject seminar leaders all have 20 or more years of performing experience and at least ten years of teaching experience.

What makes The Piano Studio special?

We developed a unique, three–pronged, activity–based approach that makes learning to read music easy for students of all ages.

We teach all of our students — including very young children — how to play with great expression and feeling.

We believe in helping students to develop repertoire rather than simply going from piece to piece. That helps our students enjoy playing anytime, anywhere.

Like the international Suzuki method, we believe that youngsters make their best progress when supportive parents know their child's weekly goals. So, at The Piano Studio, parents observe their youngster's lessons.
